Help With Choosing The Right Gun Cabinet

There are a number of questions you need to ask yourself in order to be confident you have chosen the right gun cabinet.
The first question is how many guns do you wish to store? Many people make the mistake of buying a gun cabinet that will only house a couple of guns only to regret this later when they wish to purchase more guns.  It is always best to buy a gun cabinet that will house at least a couple more guns than you have now.  This does not always mean the cabinet needs to be much bigger.  The foam inserts (which hold the guns in place) are what determines how many guns can be stored, not necessarily the size of the cabinet.  For example, our GB6LT and GB8LT are the same dimensions but are configured differently inside.   The second question might be what type of lock you require.  We supply gun cabinets with a choice of locks, electronic keypad or mechanical combination.  This does not effect the security of the cabinet but is purely personal preference.  Another thing to consider might be if you require fire protection.  It is worth noting that this can make the gun cabinet a lot heavier (something to consider if you wish to position the safe upstairs).  Do you want a place to store ammunition?  If so, you need to get a gun cabinet with a separate lockable compartment for this purpose.
